What personal information does Donect process?

In order to execute your agreement that you enter into with us, we need the following personal data from you;

Name and adress details

Your name is stored because we prefer not to address you with your customer number. We need your address and place of residence, among other things, to draw up invoices, to contact you or to come by.

Company information

Keeping personal and business separate is nice. That is why we ask you to enter your (company) name and business address when you purchase our services as a company.

E-mailadres

We save your e-mail address so that it is possible to send you important messages about your order or account.

Phonenumber

We use your telephone number to contact you in an emergency or to request your input.

IP-Adres

We keep the IP address in a log file for as long as necessary. Every time someone opens this website, the IP address is stored.

Payment information

We store payment details – such as your credit card details – and your account number and your name as account holder – after a successful order. Our bank also use other parties, such as credit card companies, to process your payments. With an order, we create both a unique quotation number and invoice number that are linked to your account.

Other data processed by Donect

We also collect some personal data that is not intended for the performance of an agreement. We do this on the basis of a legitimate interest or with your permission. This concerns the following data;

Work related personal information

If you apply with us, we would of course like to know what you have to offer. We check this on the basis of your CV, motivation letter, portfolio or submitted application assignment. We will delete your personal data within 3 months in case you are unfortunately not hired.

Cookies (yum)

Some of the aforementioned personal data in combination with the cookies placed by us make it possible for us to see how you use our website and services and where your interests lie. This way we can better adapt our website and services to your taste. The consent you have given to place cookies can be withdrawn at any time. Click here to withdrawn your cookies.

Serverlogs

If you use our services, we automatically save some data about your connection to our servers in so-called server logs. Think of your IP address, browser version and the time of your visit. We use the data in these logs to troubleshoot errors on our systems and to trace people who endanger our network and then take measures against this.

Other personal data

It sometimes happens that we receive additional personal data via support tickets, social media messages or via e-mail messages that we have not requested. If we do not need this personal data to help you further, we will delete it – as far as technically possible.

Why we process your data

  • providing access to our website and services, so for example can see your invoices in our portal
  • making useful functionalities work on our website, for example, save your language preference;

  • securing our services and combating fraud, so that, for example, someone else does not impersonate you;
  • handling responses to our vacancies, so that we know better whether you are the right match.

 After obtaining your consent, we also use your personal data for:

  • gaining insight into the use of our website, so that we know, for example, which pages need to be better designed;
  • improving and evaluating our website and services, so that we know, for example, which new functionalities you would like to see in our services;

We will not use your personal data for purposes other than those discussed above, unless you have given permission in advance or we are legally obliged to do so.
